FrewNations is the project and construction manager for the City of Cedar Rapids DoubleTree by Hilton at the U.S. Cellular Center.  Our services included negotiating the purchase of the former Five Seasons Crowne Plaza Hotel, selecting and supervising the design and construction teams and managing the renovations to the facility consistent with franchise brand standards and city budget limitations.

FrewNations led the effort to create financial modeling and projections for the Cedar Rapids Convention Complex and Hotel that resulted in the selection of DoubleTree by Hilton as the brand and Hilton Worldwide as the facility manager. 

Our renovation of this 16 story, 200,000sf hotel will result in a full-service upscale hotel with 267 guest rooms, 11,433sf of meeting space, a full-service restaurant and a direct connection to the Cedar Rapids Convention Complex and the renovated 8,600 seat arena.
