Frew Management Group, LLC was retained by the City of Cedar Park, Texas in July, 2007. As it’s Owner’s Representative, FMG represented Cedar Park’s interests in securing a private sector partner to build and operate a multi-purpose indoor event center. Through FMG’s leadership, the city entered into an agreement with the Hicks Sports Group, owner of the Dallas Stars, to jointly design, finance and build a $55 million, 6,800 seat facility as home for the Stars’ AHL affiliate. FMG then served as Project Manager and was responsible for all aspects of project design and construction of the 50 acre development.
